Hit As Hard As Life — PSA
Awareness and action of mental health issues is a pressing matter. Even as an isolated incident, it never merely affects one person and it has a severe trickle down effect which impacts endless lives. When Everett and Pat came to me with this gut wrenchingly true story, I knew we had to honour it to the fullest, with only the realest and truest emotions that could come from such events.
The entire team gave it their all through pouring endless hours of time, financial support and recourses to give this heartbreaking story the best interpretation we possibly could. I am beyond grateful to have been given the opportunity to shoot this piece. I hope it will promote awareness, fight the stigma and open conversations about mental health and most importantly share a story of heartbreak and hope.
Thank you Z for sharing your story. @topb0y
